Ok Nintendo continues to boom when it comes to their financial status. As the company just reported a 1st quater earnings report of almost 1 billion dollars for 2008. That is an amazing turnaround they have had in the last 2 years. Thanks to their pursuit of the casual gaming market. Their 2 console leaders the Wii and the DS continue to grow at explosive rate through out the world. But wait recent numbers show something else is brewing in the Nintendo camp and fire is stirring up in their own back yard of Japan. The DS has dropped almost 3 million in sales this year in comparison to just a year ago. Perhaps even more troubling for the Big N is that their rival the Sony PSP is now out selling the DS. Is this a pre-cursor of things to come for Nintendo or have they gotten enough of a foot hold to stay ahead of the competition?
